The team is multilingual, with fluency in Czech, English, French and Russian. For the shopping centre Nový Smíchov (Prague 5 - Anděl) we negotiated contracts in 3 languages and produced final copies in two.
Mr. Nigel YOUNG is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Britain's most respected real estate qualification, and member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He has over 32 years experience in the commercial real estate industry, beginning in 1972 with Healey & Baker in London where he was working extensively with high street retail and shopping centers. In 1974 he moved to Paris to establish Healey & Baker’s commercial agency department in France and worked there for 4 years in retail and office agency and development consultancy. During this time Mr. Young visited all the major cities in France and visited all shopping centers.

In 1978 Mr. Young joined McDonald´s Corporation and was responsible for their expansion throughout francophone Europe. He acquired 27 stores for the company in the next 4 years and visited practically every city centre and shopping centre in France, Belgium, Switzerland and many in Germany, Norway, Sweden and England.
During this time Mr. Young was required to return to the United States each year for market evaluation courses and economic market analysis training. Study visits of American shopping malls were frequent.
In 1982 Mr. Young joined the company Ocean Pacific Sunwear, a Californian sports wear brand and headed OP´s European operations, overseeing the European distributors and a team of 8 representatives in France. During this time Mr. Young acquired an in-depth knowledge of the garment industry and as well as supplying 450 shops in France, and creating shop in shop in Galleries Lafayette and Printemps.
In 1987 Mr. Young returned to the Britain to join Morgan Grenfell Laurie and was responsible for the planning and leasing of 3 shopping centers notably, A1 Gallerias in Hatfield, 100 shops + multiplex (built over a 6 lane motorway) for the Carol Group, Cwmbran (100 000 m2) for Ladbrook City and County. This scheme dated from the 70´s but was completely refurbished and remarketed, and the Wellington Centre in Aldershot for SIBEC. This consisted of remodeling, and releasing, the existing 15 000 m2 town centre scheme and leasing an extension of 18 000 m2.
As the 80´s retail development boom ended, Mr. Young returned to France and joined the developer, General Continental Investissement, and advised on the potential redevelopment of several existing shopping centers and the development of 3 office projects. Mr. Young subsequently advised the Swedish investor (Plaid) on the design and leasing of the Val Fontenay shopping centre extension to the East of Paris.
Before moving to Prague, Mr. Young assisted the Group SARI with concept design, and marketing of the Carrousel du Louvre shopping centre adjacent to the Louvre Museum. Mr. Young also worked with SIBEC (sold to EuroFrance) on the Elysées Village shopping centre, and, after concept work with Jean Jordi, the architect, organised the marketing and releasing.
At the end of 1993 Mr. Young was requested by Healey & Baker to move to Prague, as their consultant, to assist with the concept and leasing of 4 retail schemes, notably, Vinohradský Pavilon, Praha West, Koruna Palace and Myslbek.
Prior to joining Müller International Property Agents in 1995, Mr. Young, was consulting to JLL and Colliers, and advised on several other landmark projects, notably, the Hollan Centre, U Hájků, and Praha City Centre.
Since 1996 Mr. Young at MIPA has headed up a team of around 8 people and has worked on the design, layout (tenant mix) and leasing of some 15 retail mixed use projects or shopping centers throughout Central Europe. These centers include Borská Pole – Plzeň, Všebořice – Ústí nad Labem, Futurum – Brno, Futurum – Ostrava, Ostrava City Centre, Nový Smíchov – Prague 5, Stodůlky – Prague 5, Retail Park – Plzeň, Arkády Pankrác – Prague, Europark Štěrboholy – Prague, Pasage Brodway – Prague, Airport Ruzyně – Prague, Vinohradský Pavilon – Prague, Cassovia – Košice - Danubia – Bratislava, Savoya Park – Budapest, Györ City Park, Budai Kapu – Pécs, Kecskemét, Plzeň City Centre and Florenc Bus Station and Europort – Airport Prague Ruzyně - Avalon Business Centre in Plzeň - Olympia Teplice – Oáza Kladno – Tbilisi Entertainment and Retail Centre in Georgia – Tabakfabrik in Samsun – Sivas Shopping centre in Turkey – Kamenka Centre in Novosibirsk in Russia.
In addition to work in the Czech and Slovak Republics and Hungary Mr. Young has also spent considerable time advising clients on retail in Moscow and has given seminars in Kiev (Ukraine) on retail development.
Mr. Young has recently advised on the design and leasing of a further 8 shopping centers in CEE countries notably, The Collosseum in Bucharest (Romania), Vero Centar Belgrade (Serbia), The Trošarina Centre Belgarde (Serbia), The Galeria Plovdiv (Plovdiv-Bulgaria), The Ice Plaza (Arad – Romania), Kladno Retail Park (Czech Republic), Háje Shopping Centre (Prague-Czech Republic), Redesign of Šestka Shopping Centre (Prague-Czech Republic), Redesign of Millennium Plaza Prague 1 (Czech republic), the extension of Olympia Teplice, two schemes in Samsun (Turkey) and refurbishment and releasing of Vinohradský Pavilon in Prague (Czech republic).
These 15 years of retail experience in Central Europe are appreciated by the business community and Mr. Young is often requested to speak at diners for the British Chamber of Commerce, the Lions Club, the Construction Journal and also by MAPIC in Cannes, where Mr. Young gave a presentation on retailing in Central and Eastern Europe.
Markéta Ježková has 10 years of experience in sales, marketing and accounting, previously with Berlitz. Markéta manages the company MIPA and is responsible for retail and office leasing.
Eva Dragović is a graduate of the Faculty of Building design and construction in Prague and qualified as a building technician. In addition Eva studied architecture at the Institute of Architectural studies and qualified as a drafts person. Eva is previously managed the Pavilon shopping centre (supermarket and 55 shops) as well as preparing all the design plans and details of the planed refurbished Pavilon and several of our other retail projects, Europort, ČSAD, Plzeň, Háje, etc. Eva´s ability to receive the plans from the architects and produce tenant mix plan for our cliens or potentional tenants is invaluable.
Ing. Jitka Zákravská a university graduate having qualified at the Faculty of Economics and Public Administration.
Jitka has been with the company now for several years and has been responsible for the leasing of many of our clients, retail schemes and has an intimate knowledge of the retailers, both foreign and local, and knows their specific requirements.
Martina Šebková is a Personal Assistant of the Managing Director and assistant to the Retail and Marketing Team.
